234 MW power shortfall recorded

ISLAMABAD, Nov 30 : The power shortfall on Tuesday remained 234 MW as the total generation was recorded 11,253 MW against demand of 11,487 MW during the last 24 hours. According to daily power generation report, the hydel generation stood at 5,674 MW, WAPDA thermal 1,234 MW, IPPs 4,283 and Rental 62 MW.As many as 720 MW was supplied to Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC), the report said.The water level at Tarbela and Mangla dams was recorded as 1500.50 and 1160.25 MW respectively.APP
