WASHINGTON: A detailed verdict of Dr Aafia Siddiqui’s sentencing by a US court has been released on Sunday.
The verdict comprising 111 pages, says Aafia Siddiqui has no mental problemsa, her problem is political prejudices.
The lawyers of Siddiqui had argued before the court that she was in American detention between Year 2003 to 2008 but couldn't prove her innocence.
The detailed judgment says that the court reviewed in detail all aspects of the case, leading to handing 86 years jail term to Siddiqui.
Dr Aafia Siddiqui (38) a Pakistani neuroscientist, was convicted of allegedly trying to kill American soldiers and FBI agents in Afghanistan in 2008.
