PESHAWAR: A powerful blast ripped thought Sadar area of the city.
Police said the explosion went off in Dense Chowk, a busy market place, situated in cantonment area of the city.
Eyewitnesses said the blast took place near Frontier Constabulary (FC) headquarter.
Police and security official quickly responded and thronged to the spot.
Local people and rescue team arrived at the scene and shifted injured to hospitals.
Nature of the blast was not known so far.
