Overseas Pak volunteers to facilitate Hujjaj this year

ISLAMABAD, Jul 27 (APP): In a bid to provide maximum facilities to intending pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Religious Affairs this year has arranged services of overseas Pakistanis to ensure complete guidance and assistance to Pakistani Hujjaj in performing the religious obligation.Besides, the services of regular Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj, Pakistani pilgrims would be entertained by around 600 volunteers having sufficient experience and command over Arabic language, official sources told APP.

They said interaction with the Pakistani community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been very encouraging, adding that these trained personnel would be on disposal of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, especially in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalfa.
In addition, Pakistani diaspora would provide 100 motorbikes to monitor the Pakistani pilgrims round-the-clock and guide them to their respective destinations.
The volunteers would wear coats bearing Pakistani flag for their identification so that Hujjaj could contact them in case any difficulty.
“They would even take them to their camps and sacred places, in case of loosing the way,” the sources maintained.
