Chiniot: 3 killed, 2 injured in road mishap

CHINNOT, July 09 : At least three persons were killed and two others injured in a road mishap here at Chinnot-Faisalabad road on Friday, police source said.

According to police, a speeding car collided with a dumper wherein at least three people lost their lives and two other received critical wounds. Locals rushed to the spot and started rescue activities, recovered the stranded dead bodies and injured from the wreckage. "The incident occurred due to over speed," police sources said. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Police officials arriving at the spot registered a case and started investigations.
