Contempt of court petition against PM in LHC

LAHORE, June 04 : A contempt of court petition has been filed against Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani in Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday.

The petitioner Engineering Ghulam Nabi in his plea said that at a time when court is hearing the holding of dual offices by the President, the Prime Minister while speaking at a public meeting has said that the President can hold two offices.

Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Justice Khwaja Mohammed Sharif has constituted a five-member bench for hearing the petition.

The bench will be hearing the President's dual office case on June 14 and will also hear the contempt of court petition against the Prime Minister.
