SKARDU, June 04: Five women were among eight people killed and ten others were injured when an landslide buried several houses at Momin Pah village of Karmang on Friday, police sources said.
Sources said a landslide buried a residential area which killed at least eight people including five women at the spot and injured ten others.
“At least 15 hours were completely destroyed by the landslide,” DCO Skardu Mohammad Ali said rescuers have arrived at the scene to help the locals.
“The injured and the dead bodies have already been recovered from the debris of the houses,” he added.
