COAS urges Balochs to play role in country’s uplift

QUETTA, June 07 : Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani Monday urged the Balochs to play their due role in country’s progress, saying that efforts are on to bring the province at par with other provinces.

Addressing a ceremony held in connection with the admission of some 350 Baloch students in military institutions, the COAS said that the students would be provided with better educational facilities as they are future of the country.

General Kayani also met with the parents of the students and visited Chamalan Boys Hostel.

The COAS announced that army would bear the expenditures of all the 350 students, saying that the army wanted to bring the province in the mainstream
