CHINIOT, June 04 : Citizens on Friday captured and handed to police a suspect in Chinab Nagar who was carrying explosives, police source said Friday.
According to police sources, the suspect was captured by the locals from Darul Ullem Wastee area of Chanab Nagar and later handed him over to police.
Upon search, police recovered a Kalashnikov, three magazines, explosives and 500 rounds from his possession.
Police said that bomb disposal squad was informed to investigate the explosives recovered from the suspect.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
