Two notorious robbers held

KARACHI, May 27 : Two notorious robbers were arrested here at Ajmeer Nagree during a police raid on Thursday, police sources said.

Police said that two notorious dacoits were arrested at Ajmeer Nagree, allegedly involved in looting the passenger vans and pedestrians

Police have recovered mobile phones, ornaments, cash and weapons from the dacoits which were snatched from citizens.

Police said the dacoit identified as Ashraf Bangali was released from jail recently. However, police have registered a fresh case against him and started investigations

In another incident Gulshan Abad at least three sweets’ shops and a bakery were gutted due to short circuit. The fire turned has badly destroyed the shops, local sources said.
