ISLAMABAD, May 27 - A policeman and two assailants were killed on Thursday and three were wounded in an attack on police mobile van in a northern Pakistani remote district, said police.
A police mobile van was on routine patrol when two unknown armed motorcyclists opened fire at it in a village, about 20 km from Hangu district, said Khayal Zaman, a local police officer, to reporters.
The officer said that the police chased the militants and opened retaliatory fire.
The whole incident, he added, left a policeman and two assailants killed.
Three policemen were also wounded in the incident.
