KARACHI, May 11 : Karachi Police Tuesday arrested seven robbers wanted in various crimes during separate raids in Sherpao Colony and Industrial Area of the city and have recovered arms and valuables from their possession.
According to details Qauidabad Police on a tip off approached three offenders while they were busy in distributing looted valuables after a robbery in Sherpao Colony graveyard.
Three offenders including Amjad Khan, Haroon and Khushdil Khan were arrested during the raid.
Arms including three TT pistols, magazines and rounds of different bores besides looted valuables were recovered from the possession of detainees
The arrested offenders were wanted to police in various incidents of robberies, street crimes, pickets looting and pick pocketing.
Meanwhile four robbers were arrested as police approached them while they were busy in looting a factory in Industrial Area of the city. The detainees were identified as Akhtar, Arif, Adnan and Nazir while their two accomplices Noshad and Shaheen managed to escape.
Separate cases have been registered against the detainees at concerned police stations and investigations were underway.
