ISLAMABAD, May 04 : Rescue 15 Islamabad reunited three missing children with their parents who went on missing from various areas of Islamabad and Multan , the police spokesman said Tuesday.
Three children were found by the Falcon Squads of Rescue 15 from sector E-7 and F-9 Park. Police used all available resources to know about whereabouts of these children and succeeded to contact their parents.
These children were identified as Haris Altaf resident of Sector G-9/2 Block 4-C flat no.8 Islamabad , Muhammad Arif s/o Muhammad Jameel resident of Korang town Islamabad and Faisal s/o Akhtar Hussain resident of Tariqabad District Multan.
SSP Islamabad has appreciated the performance of Rescue 15 staff and announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the policemen who traced these children and reunited them with their parents.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Kaleem Imam has taken strict notice of hoax calls at Rescue 15 and asked SP Industrial area and In-Charge DSP Rescue to submit report to him in this regard.
It is to mention that IGP has already directed to install automatic telephone exchange and funds have been also provided for this purpose. Through installation of such exchange, it would be easy to trace and stop hoax calls.
