PM asks KP CM to allocate more resources for development in Swat, Malakand

ISLAMABAD, May 28 : Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Amir Haider Khan Hoti called on the Prime Minister at Prime Minister's Secretariat Friday morning and apprised him on the overall situation of the province.

Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani stressed the need to focus on development projects to address the common man problems. He said since the passage of the 18th Amendment and NFC Accord, provincial economic resources have increased so is provincial responsibility of good governance and development of backward areas.

The Prime Minister asked Mr Hoti to give special emphasis and allocate more funds in the next budget for development projects particularly in areas affected by militancy to improve infrastructure and other facilities damaged.

The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister for his keenness in the uplift of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He also apprised the Prime Minister about rehabilitation projects in Malkand-Swat terror affected areas.
