FIR against Jamshed Dasti registered

MUZAFFARGARH, May 25 : Police filed FIR on Tuesday against PPP National Assembly member Jamshed Dasti and his aides on allegedly manhandling doctors of Muzaffargarh District Headquarters Hospital .

Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Punjab observed strike in Punjab hospitals to protest against the incident and PMA Punjab demanded action against Jamshed Dasti and his aides in protest administration. The case was filed in the city police station upon the request of Dr Ashiq.

The doctors stopped all work in the hospitals because of which patients are facing difficulties.

The realities of patient and Dasti had protested against a case of medical negligence and alleged that the hospital had failed to give him sufficient medication

The protesters were agitating against the death of a man who was admitted to the hospital following a severe heart attack.

The hospital staff and the protesters pelted stones at each other in which six doctors were injured on late Monday.

Meanwhile, additional police was summoned from Dera Ghazi Khan and Layyah. Elite force, and police officials was deployed in the main areas of the city.
