KARACHI, May 29 : At least ten kilograms heroin was recovered in a PIA flight PK 303 here on Saturday.
According to details, the Karachi bound flight from Lahore was stopped at runway after reports of presence of large quantity of drugs was hiding in the airplane.
The personnel of Customs, Airport Security Force and Anti-Narcotics Force started search of the airplane and the passengers were off loaded the flight and the passengers faced difficulties during searching.
The personnel recovered ten kg heroin which hided in the toilet room of the airline while no one could be arrested. The investigation was underway.
