India continues firing at working boundary in Sialkot Sector

SIALKOT, Mar 11 : Indian security forces continued unprovoked firing at the working boundary for the third day on Thursday and fired into Pakistani areas in Shakargarh sector of Sialkot, sources said.

Indian troops fired 20 RDX shells at Fayyaz Shaheed checkpost from Faqeeria post on Indian side, official sources said, India is continuing one sided fire for the past three days.

“Indian troops have so far fired 200 shells at the boundary,” official sources said.

Pakistan's Chenab Rangers have lodged a protest over the Indian violations and has called a flag team.

India's DIG level officials had promised to stop the firing, official sources said.

The firing from the India sides has so far caused no life or property damage on Pakistani sides, but has caused panic among the villages close to the working boundary.
