LAHORE, Mar 13 : Four persons received injuries in gas cylinder explosion in Upper Mall area of Lahore on Saturday.
Police said that the explosion occurred in a house owned by a person named Chaudhry Ikram in WAPDA Colony, Upper Mall area of Lahore after which fire engulfed the house.
As a result of fire four persons including a house mad and two women received burn injuries.
Rescue 1122 reached the scene and after bringing the fire under control shifted the injured to local hospital.
The Rescue 1122 sources insisted that the said blast was not gas cylinder explosion rather it could be terrorist act however the residents of the house said that it was a gas cylinder explosion which caused the fire.
The police registering a case into the incident have started the investigations.
