NOWSHERA, Feb 16 (INP): Security forces to have arrested two key Taliban commanders during a joint search operation with police in Gadoon area of Nowshera on Tuesday.
Sources said that the security forces in joint venture with police on tip off regarding presence of two Taliban commanders in the areas, Tuesday morning launched a massive search operation in Gadoon area of Nowshera.
During the search operation the security forces apprehended two militants commanders identified as Mufti Fakhar-e-Alam and Alam Banuri.
The sources said that detainee belong to a banned religious outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat and were among top associates of Maulana Fazlullah.
Earlier the government had announced Rs.10 million as the head money of each arrested terrorist commander.
The security forces have shifted the detained Taliban commanders to unidentified location for further investigations and important revelations were expected, the sources added.
