KARACHI, Feb 04 : Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has assured that coalition between PPP and MQM would remain intact, adding that joint efforts have been launched to establish peace in Karachi.
Addressing the Sindh Assembly session on Thursday, Qaim Ali Shah vowed to follow Quaid-e-Azam’s footsteps and cooperate with each other to maintain peace in the metropolis. He condemned the accusations MQM and PPP members hurled at each other the other day on the floor of the House.
The CM also thanked President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and MQM Chief Altaf Hussain for cooperation in this regard. He also hailed the unprecedented alliance between MQM and PPP in the last two years.
On the other hand, addressing the Sindh Assembly session, Senator Pir Mazharul Haq noted that Karachi’s prosperity was linked with Karachi uplift, adding that disputes should be shun for progress of the province.
He said that the sole aim of everyone was to make the country successful and thereby egos be buried.
