KARACHI, Feb 25 (INP): Husband strangulated his wife to death over some domestic dispute in Jinnah Square in Malir on Thursday.
Police said that Ali Muhammad resident of Jinnah Square, Saudabad Police Station jurisdiction, was in dispute with his wife Ghafoora Bibi over some domestic issues.
Neighbours of the deceased said that the couple is often heard shouting at each other, which ended on Thursday with the death of Ghafooran Bibi.
Police said Ali Muhammad has strangulated his wife Ghafoora Bibi 26, and fled away.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital where doctors after autopsy have confirmed that suffocation caused the death. The body was handed over to heirs after fulfilling legal requirements.
A case has been registered in Saudabad Police Station and police was busy in investigations
