2 cops die as gas filled in their room

QUETTA, Feb 12 : Two police officials suffocated to death due to filling of gas in room Tipu Line area, Saryab Road of Quetta on late Thursday night.

According to details, the incident occurred in Tipu Line area Saryab Road of Quetta on Thursday night when two police officials Allah Dita resident of Jhang and Altaf resident of Kaley Karbala Pashin went to sleep in their room while leaving the gas heater on to lessen the cold intensity.

Due to shortage of oxygen, the gas heater was turned off and the room was filled with gas resulting in death of both the police personnel.

The police after fulfilling the legal requirements sent the bodies of both police officials to their ancestral villages. INP
