Swine Flue: 14 deaths, 219 cases reported across the country: Health Minister

ISLAMABAD, Jan 12: Fourteen people have died of swine flue while the National Institute of Health has tested positive 219 cases of swine flue in the country.

This was stated by Minister for Health Makhdoom Shahabuddin while responding to a call attention notice in the National Assembly Tuesday.

He enumerated various measures to control the swine flu in the country.

He said the government has decided to install scanners at all international airports and ground entry points to control swine flu.

He said the federal government has also provided necessary medicines to the provincial governments and Pakistan Army for treatment of swine flue. INP
