RAWALPINDI, Jan 02 : At least 70 suspects were arrested during search operation in different localities of Rawalpindi on Saturday.
According to details, the search operation was carried out in two divisions. Under supervision of SSP operations Yaseem Farooq search operation was conducted in Commercial Market, at Murree Road and other adjacent areas of New Town Police Station.
The SSP Rawal Town supervised search operation in other areas in assistance with Elite Force and Ladies Police.
During the two search operations, 160 houses, 370 suspected persons and 78 vehicles during which 70 suspected persons were apprehended.
Meanwhile, city police arrested 16 anti-state elements from different localities of city and recovered four pistols, 85 bottles of liquor and charas from their possession. INP
