NWFP edu. department sacks 29 employees for linking in anti-state activities

PESHAWAR, Jan 22 : Education Department NWFP has sacked its 29 officials and employees for their allegedly involvement in anti-state activities and atleast 68 others employees are under interrogation.

According to official sources the action was taken after Interior Ministry provided lists of various government employees for their allegedly involvement in supporting anti-state elements.

The sources said that the lists provided by Interior Ministry included names of 128 employees of NWFP educations department out of which 29 have been sacked and 68 suspects are being interrogated.

The sacked employees including teachers, lab assistants, night watchmen and Naib Qasids belonging to Buner, D. I. Khan, Malakand and Lakki Marwat.

The education department has also issued charge sheet to 47 employees of education department from Swat including a lecturer and female staffer.
