KARACHI, Jan 06: The blast in the Ashura procession on the 10th of Moharram in Karachi was not a suicide bombing, rather it was carried out through telephonic remote controlled device.
According to sources, the investigation report submitted by the FIA to the Interior Ministry on Wednesday regarding Karachi bombing on the day of Moharram 10th
revealed that the blast was carried out through telephonic controlled device.
The Director General FIA submitted the report to the Interior Ministry, while another team constituted by the Government of Sindh will also submit its report on the Youm-e-Ashur attack to the Ministry.
The intelligence agencies were also investigating into the incident which would also be presented to the Interior Ministry which would forward all the reports to the Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani. INP
