Indian forces open unprovoked fire at Pakistani posts

SIALKOT, Jan 26: Indian army on Tuesday opened unprovoked firing at the working boundary near Sialkot, but the counter-fire from the Pakistani side silenced the Indian guns, official sources said.

The Indian troops opened firing from Alfa Mashal, Beli Azmant and Ghani Chator check posts at Sialkot sector at Pakistani soldiers.

“Fortunately, no one was hurt in the firing,” official sources said Pakistani forces initiated firing which silenced the Indian guns.

The Indian troops have violated the border truce thrice during last eight days, while one Pakistani soldier was also martyred by the unprovoked firing at the working boundary last week.
