KARACHI, Jan 27 : Health Department Sindh Wednesday confirmed four new cases of Swine Flu across Sindh raising the number of affected people to 90.
Swine Flu Cell of Sindh Health Department in its latest statistics confirmed that four new cases of H1N1 have been confirmed across Sindh. With the latest cases, the figure of Swine Flue affected people has risen to 90.
The report said since the first confirmed case appeared in June 2009, the total number of H1N1 cases has rose to 90, which include 43 men and 47 women, while at least 24 people have so far died of the virus across the country.
The Health Department statistic said that at least six people have died of H1N1 virus from June 2009 to date in Sindh only. However, currently no patient affected of H1N1 virus is under treatment at any hospital across the province.
As a precautionary measure, the doctors have advised the people to wash their hands and face properly and avoid going to crowded places and contact doctors immediately after appearance of the symptoms of Swine Flu.
