ISLAMABAD, Jan 21 : The PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here Thursday and discussed prevailing political and security situation in the country.
During the meeting the Prime Minister said that government would continue pursuing the policy of reconciliation and will take all the political forces on board on issues of national importance.
The Prime Minister said in order to steering the country out of present challenges it is imperative that all the political forces should join hands together and supplement government’s endeavours for the welfare of the people.
Chaudhry Shaujat Hussain lauded the efforts of the Prime Minister for developing consensus on NFC Award which he added, was the dividend of democracy and extended his support to the Prime Minister for strengthening the democratic institutions in the country. He also thanked the Prime Minister for providing development funds across the board irrespective of the political considerations.
