KARACHI, Jan 02 : At least four persons were killed and two others injured in various target killing incidents in different localities of Karachi .
According to police the first incident occurred in Tanki Chowk of Shah Faisal Colony when unidentified assailants opened fire at Aamir 24, while he was standing outside his resident leaving him critically injured. He was being shifted to hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.
In Saudabad area near 4-D mosque Mohammed Ali 38, s/o Intezar Ali stated to be political activist of MQM-Haqiqi was gunned down by some unidentified persons.
The third incident occurred in Landhi No. 36-B where armed miscreants opened fire at Malik Ilyas 40, s/o Umar Din killing him on the spot.
In Landhi No. 4 some unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire Danish Mehmood Shah 32 killing him on the spot.
In Liaqatabad No. 4 area of city some armed persons opened fire at two pro-MQM persons Rizwan 22, and Shahzad 20 leaving them critically injured. The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed hospital for treatment.
The police registering separate cases in all incidents in relative police stations have initiated the investigations . INP
