PESHAWAR, Jan 05 : Security forces killed five militants in two separate clashes in areas of Malakand and at least ten militants including three their commanders were arrested in Bara area of Khyber Agency.
According to official sources, the militants opened fire at security forces during search operation conducted by security forces in Bajaur and the security forces retaliated as a result, three militants were killed and a troop received injured.
A huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from their hideout.
In another incident, exchange of fire was carried out between security forces and militants when security forces took action against militants in Harichand areas of Malakand, killing two terrorists.
Meanwhile, security forces also apprehended at least ten militants including three their commanders after raiding at hideouts of them in Khyber agency. They were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
