Peshawar: Some foreign national terrorists detained in search operation in NWFP

PESHAWAR, : IG Police NWFP, Malik Naveed has disclosed that some foreigners involved in terror acts have also been arrested during search operations.
He was talking to media persons after his detailed meeting with Imamia Jirga in the backdrop of security measures during the holy month of Muharram ul Harram.
Malik Naveed said that hundreds of suspects and terrorists have been apprehended during the last two months in search operations and raids carried out across the district.
He claimed that among apprehended terrorist there were several foreigners however he could not provide names of the foreign detainees and nature of their terrorist activities owing to security concern.
IG, NWFP said that fool proof security arrangements have been made and police forces would remain alert during Muharram to subvert any terror act. INP
