ZHOB - At least six Pakistani citizens were killed and
several others injured when Afghan security forces opened unprovoked
firing near Pak Afgan border in Qamar Din area on Wednesday.
According to officials, Afghan forces penetrated inside Pakistani territory on three vehicle and opened unprovoked fire on a tribal village.
The deceased were identified as Mullah Fateh Noor, Zahir Khan, Muhammad Ameen and Mir Dad who belonged to Lawoon tribe.
The wounded were shifted to Zhob hospital for treatment.
This was not first incident on western border when Afghan forces ambushed inside Pakistani territory, similar incidents are common in north tribal areas.
Pakistan has been protesting with Kabul on cross border attacks however Afghan officials denied such incidents.
