- Government has decided to send ambassador of peace Malala Yusufzai for medical treatment overseas.
The decision was made due to the medical condition of Malala because the bullit in her head has shifted to her backbone and she could not be operated upon due to swelling.
Federal Interior Minister Rahman Malik has directed Secretary Interior to make ararngements to send Malala for treatment overseas while chief minister Khyber Pakhtwankhwa has offered Malala's treatment outside the country.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has contacted Malala's father on phone and strongly coidemned the attack on her by the militants. The government, he told Malala's father, would take action against the elements involved in the attack.
The PM also told Malala's father that government would bear the cost of medical treatment.
The PM issued special directive to Ameen Faheem to visit Malala, present her bouquet and enquire about her health on the behalf of President Zardari, Chairman of Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PM Raja Pervez Ashraf.
