Blast kills 4 Rangers in Karachi

The death toll in the blast on Friday morning that hit a Rangers van near Safura Chaowrangi in Karachi has reached to four as an injured succumbed to his injuries in hospital. The injured Rangers were shifted to CMH Malir for treatment. According to sources, a bomb was planted near Safura Chaowrangi which hit a Rangers van usually stand at the place for security duty. As a result of the blast, three Rangers men were martyred immediately while four others sustained injuries who were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital Malir for medical aid. An injured succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The explosion damaged the Rangers’ van.
