OGRA hikes LPG price by 9-rupee per KG

ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Friday announced Rs. nine per kilogramme hike in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices.

The price of the home use LPG has been increased by Rs 108 and commercial cylinder of LPG by 432 rupees' per kilogramme, a notification said.

The regulatory authority has said that the prices in Pakistan have been enhanced after US $26 per ton hike in LPG at the world market, which has reached to US$ 870 from previous 843 dollars per ton.

The new price of the PARCO and Jamshoro Joint Venture Company has been fixed at Rs 86,518 per ton, which will be Rs 86,567 per ton for OGDCL.
