QUETTA, May 21 : The Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court, Qazi Faaiz Essa, in light of the decision of the provincial government, appointed Muhammad Hashim Kakar of Balochistan High Court, as head of the interrogation tribunal to probe the killing of five foreigners including three women by the security personnel at Kharotabad check post. The tribunal will present its recommendations to the provincial government.
Provincial Interior Secretary Zafarullah Baloch, while talking to media persons here on Saturday, said that action would be taken against the involved people after the report of the interrogation tribunal. He said that legally the tribunal presents its report in 14 days, however, if needed, it would be given further time.
To a query, he said that, so far, no one has contacted for dead bodies of the deceased foreigners.
Meanwhile, surgeon of Bolan Medical Complex, Dr Baqir Shah told newsmen that the post -mortem report of five deceased foreigners would be presented to relevant officials on May 23.
