American stopped at Peshawar airport

PESHAWAR: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) stopped US citizen Mark De Haven at Peshawar airport last night.

FIA sources say Aaron Mark De Haven was detained after he outstayed his Pakistani visa. De Haven’s Pakistani visa had expired in October.

The US national was arrested on February 25 this year from Hayatabad area of Peshawar.

A local court had ordered him not to leave the area neither he could be deported. According to FIA sources De Haven could not be allowed to quit Peshawar without confirmation from the ministry of interior.

The laywer of the US national said that the ministry of interior has granted permission to his client to leave for the United States.
