PESHAWAR, April 23 : Armed forces backed by gunship helicopters pounded hideouts of the militants in the Khadizai area of Orakzai Agency, killing at least six militants and injuring several others on Saturday.
Official sources said that two hideouts of the militants were destroyed by the security forces during the operation against the militants in the Khadizai area from where the militants were planning attacks in various areas of Pakistan.
The sources said the operation against the militants will continue till their complete elimination from the area.
On the other hand, miscreants have blown up a power transmission pylon in Mohmand Agency on Saturday which disrupted the power supply to several areas. The locals demanded of the government for immediate repair of the pylon and restoration of power supply.
