KARACHI April 01 An emergency meeting of Rabta Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) simultaneously held in London and Karachi has unanimously rejected the increase in POL prices.
The meeting which ended at midnight on Thursday-Friday said the federal government did not take Muttahida into confidence over the hike in prices of petroleum products.
MQM's Coordination Committee said in its statement that Muttahida cannot tolerate at any cost this additional burden of price hike on the people.
The Rabita Committee said MQM will remain in touch with the government at every level to persuade it to reduce the prices.
