CNG association threatens to go on indefinite strike from Wednesday

LAHORE, April 08 : The CNG association on Friday threatened to go on an indefinite strike throughout Punjab to protest against the ongoing weekly gas break in the province.

Ghayas Abdullah Paracha, the chairman of the CNG association, said while addressing a news conference at Lahore Press Club today that that all CNG stations of all cities of Punjab, including Lahore, will be closed for an indefinite period of time from Wednesday onwards.

Flanked by other leaders of the CNG association, Paracha added that at the moment, the strike is not being announced officially, but formal announcement will also be made this evening in another press conference.

"The petrol pumps association will also support our strike by suspending petrol supply. Our strike will continue till our demands are accepted," Paracha added.
