CHICHAWATNI, April 18 : Seven criminals who were being kept behind thebar at Saddar Police Station in Chichawatni escaped on Sunday night.
Sources said that seven alleged criminals who were sent by the local court on police remand to Saddar Police Station but either due to negligence of police or with their connivance they managed their escape during night.
The criminals were involved in various heinous crimes of murder and kidnapping for ransom.
After the incident, Police beefed up security in the city and raided various suspected spots but failed to nab the criminals.
