FAISALABAD, March 26 : Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday that Interior Minister Rehman Malik should make public the names of the murderers of Banazir Bhutto if they were arrested.
Talking to media persons at his chamber, Sanaullah said that the PPP government was making claims for last three years that killers of Benazir Bhutto were arrested but so far neither the FIR could be registered against them in any police station in Rawalpindi nor they could be produced in any court.
He said the current circumstances were heading towards mid-term elections in the country and Interior Minister Rehman Malik had launched campaign for it, adding that Rehman Malik wanted to receive sympathy of people by giving such statements so that people cast their votes in favour of the PPP in the next election.
Rana Sanaullah said that Rehman Malik was befooling the masses by giving such statements, adding that now people are aware of the real face of the PPP.
He said that Benazir Bhutto's brother Murtaza Bhutto was killed when the PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto was the Prime Minister of the country but his murderers could not be arrested yet.
To a question about status of Unification Bloc in the Punjab Assembly, the minister said that they would respond on the matter if needed.
He said that he was happy that the PPP members had learnt to speak after separation from the Punjab government. He advised the PPP members to think before speaking as they make a lot of mistakes while talking.
