PARACHINAR: Fifteen passengers abducted by militants from Parachinar-bound passenger coaches in Kurram Agency on Friday were freed here Saturday, officials said.
Unknown militants in Bagan area of Lower Kurram Agency killed at least eight and injured several others, including women and children, when the gunmen, opened fire at two passenger coaches.
The attackers had also kidnapped at some 33 other passengers onboard, of them 15 were freed today after intervention by local political administration.
However, 18 abductees are still said to be missing.
