KASHMORE, March 07 : Unknown miscreants blew up a gas pipeline leading to Punjab in Kashmore on Monday, disrupting supply to different areas in Punjab.
According to police, unknown miscreants planted explosives with 24-inch diameter gas pipeline in Dera Sarki area of Kashmore which went off with a huge explosion destroying the gas pipeline.
The gas pipeline caught fire after the blast. Police and concerned authorities reached the scene of the blast and extinguished the fire. The gas authorities initiated the repair work on the pipeline soon after the blast.
Police said that the blast occurred in sub-line and it partially disrupted the gas supply, while gas supply to big cities continued from the main pipeline.
