Fahim’s mother-in-law says govt got dollars for releasing Davis

FAISALABAD, March 18 : Mussarat Bibi, mother of Shumaila, and mother-in-law of Fahim, who was killed by US national Raymond Davis, said on Friday that the government received millions of dollars from the US for releasing the murderer.

Addressing a press conference here, she said that Fahim’s family was kidnapped and forced to sign the documents for pardoning Davis. She said Fahim’s family members disappeared from their house since March 15 and were out of contact.

Fahim’s mother-in-law criticised the verdict of judiciary and said that the court acquitted the killer within two hours. She said people have lost faith in the judiciary after this verdict.

“My daughter Shumaila committed suicide for justice. Now we will not pardon Davis at any cost because the blood of Pakistani nation is not so cheap which was sold for just money,” she said.

“We will demand release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui from US, if any body tried to give us blood money. We can pardon Davis in case the US would release Dr Aafia who is daughter of Pakistan,” Mussarat Bibi said.
