QUETTA, March 26 : Police recovered a huge cache of arms and explosives from an under construction government building in Baroori area on Saturday.
According to police, on a tip off it raided an under construction official building, located in Baroori area.
During search, police recovered arms including 25 mortar shells, 52 anti-aircraft gun shells, 10 hand grenades, 9 Kalashnikovs, four rifles, thousands of rounds of different bores and explosives hidden in the building.
Police took the arms and explosives into its custody but no arrest was made as the building was lying vacant.
A case has been registered against unidentified miscreants and police was investigating the labourers and contractors engaged in the construction of building.
