Thrashing of SHO: PML-N leader among four arrested in Rahimyar Khan

RAHIMYAR KHAN, Jan 26 : The city police station A-division has arrested four persons, including a local leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and chairman of district education committee Arshad Gujjar for thrashing Station House Officer Ghulam Dastagir Khan and trying to free a criminal involved in kidnapping for ransom case.

Local sources said on Wednesday that Arshad Gujjar came to office of SHO with three friends and pressurised the SHO for freeing Mohammad Majid, involved in kidnapping for ransom case, which led to exchange of harsh words and they thrashed the SHO.

After that the police arrested them and registered case against them.

The PML-N leaders condemned the arrest of Arshad Gujjar and alleged that the SHO has arrested him due to personal his grudge and called for action against the SHO.
