HAFIZABAD, Jan 05 : Four power loom labourers died of gas suffocation at Kolu road of Hafizabad district on Tuesday-Wednesday night.
According to details, four laboures of a Power Loom industry were sleeping in a room after turning on gas heater to keep them warm.
Due to continuous burning of gas heater, carbon monoxide gas filled the room and claimed the lives of four labourers.
The deceased were identified as Jamaat Ali, Nadeem, Naseer Ahmed and Mustafa.
Police and Rescue 1122 recovered bodies and shifted them to hospital for post mortem.
