LAHORE, Dec 23 : At least three persons died and four others injured in separate road accidents due to thick fog in various areas of Punjab on Thursday.
According to Motorway Police, as many as ten vehicles collided with one another near Ravi Toll Plaza owing to dense fog, killing a truck driver and wounding four others.
The injured and the dead body were shifted to hospital.
In another fog related accident occurred at Multan Road when a truck crushed to death a motorist.
The police arrested the truck driver from the spot and started investigation.
In Kala Shah Kaku a truck collided with a rickshaw due to low visibility killing the rickshaw driver on the spot.
Lahore has been covered by thick fog over the last several days. According to Met Office, the misty weather was expected to continue for another few days.
